Međunarodnopravni aspekt upotrebe nuklearne energije u energetici : osnovna prava i obveze koje za Jugoslaviju proizlaze iz međunarodnih ugovora / Božidar Bakotić

U Prilozima sadrži i prijevode izabranih propisa i međunarodnih instrumenata. - Bibliografija. - Summary: Two lines of approach to the problem are considered: first, international co-operation in nuclear activities involves, more than in other activities, a complex of political (particularly strategic), commercial and legal elements; second, because of the ever-present possibility of dual use of nuclear energy - for peaceful and for military purposes - the group of rules regulating the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes and the group of rules on the prevention and suppression of the use of nuclear energy for military purposes make up an inseparable whole. Hence the scope of the monograph is broader than the title might imply (cf. Table of Contents, pp.III ff.). _Part One focuses on describing and analyzing the operation of the International Atomic Energy Agency, and the provisions of the Non-Proliferation Treaty. Part Two is devoted to bilateral co-operation with the US, the latter undoubtedly being Yugoslavia's main partner in nuclear activities, and the only country with which Yugoslavia co-operates, through the IAEA, on actual projects (the Krško nuclear power plant). This is also why the Annexes include translation of American legislative texts and of some agreements concluded between the US and the IAEA.
