Abstract
The study of the Ba-137 level scheme has been extended in the framework of the interacting boson-fermion model. Two categories of negative-parity states up to excitation energies of 5 MeV were found. One is associated with the h(11/2) hole-type family and another with the particle-type configurations placed above the N = 82 boson core. The calculated SU(5) energy spectrum as well as cumulative (d, p) cross sections are in good agreement with experimental data. [References: 28]
