These sessions will enable the students to make use of the software they have been introduced to.  The CCDC will supply workshop booklets with exercises that illustrate basic use of the software as well as more advanced use.  An example of the sort of topics we might cover includes:

1. Monitoring tautomeric preferences

2. Identification of an SN2 reaction pathway

3. Monitoring the geometry of Fe in heme

4. Conformational preferences in cyclopropyl carboxylic acids

5. Conformational analysis of 5-membered carbocyclic rings

6. Carbonyl exchange in Fe-Fe complexes
